Come on Donald, Tariffs and PRICE CONTROLS!

Hey buddy, you should have further insight into what you're commenting on before you make highly regarded statements.

I know a few things about PV equipment. Nearly all modern inverters have communication systems for mointoring the system's output so you can determine whether panels stop working or if the inverter is on the fritz. Nobody except maybe a private homeowner would want an inverter that doesn't communicate. Also what would the Chinese government get from disrupting PV equipment? No grid is going down because PV isn't working. Remember the sun isn't always shining. As of now these allegations are just that, allegations.

That's racism, but with instances. Instancism? Pretty weak imo. You should try to be better.

I feel like few people would actually consent to this new system if they knew what it was and how it worked. So how do these guys plan on forcing their post-democratic system on us?

They show how particularly northern Europe from Britain to Scandinavia would suffer devastating impacts, such as a cooling of winter temperatures by between 10 °C and 30 °C occurring within a century, leading to a completely different climate within a decade or two, in line with paleoclimatic evidence about abrupt ocean circulation changes. In addition they show major shifts in tropical rainfall belts. These (and many more) impacts of an AMOC collapse have been known for a long time but thus far have not been shown in a climate model of such high quality.

Anybody know any further details about what to expect if it collapses?

Why did the federal agents back off? Don't they have the higher authority in this situation?

I love the realtor's pitch:

Situated in a nice Renton, WA neighborhood this unique parcel stretches behind six homes and is accessed through the public right of way. Imagine the things you could do? Parking of vehicles and "toys" comes to mind immediately ... or storage? How could you put a piece of property like this to use for yourself? Gardening? A place to hang out? It's right next to a big green belt so you've got all that privacy at your feet. Recreation? Camping? And just strictly as an investment ... can you think of any Real Estate in King County Washington that gone down in value over time? "A rising tide lifts all boats"! Tax ID# 7708201190. NE 4th St to N on Jericho Ave NE. Stop just before Road Curves left. Parcel is behind the houses straight ahead.

It's here for 50,000 years if we do nothing, but we're likely going to do something. 200 years. Generations one and two will set up the carbon free energy infrastructure, generations three and four will manage the return to acceptable CO2 levels and environmental restoration.

Edit: y'all need to lay off the defeatism. It's really pathetic to read.

So if they're not building new coal plants, what are they doing with the coal? Heating stoves or something?

[-] [email protected] 7 points 2 years ago

Dude, someone could just write the plans after the attack happened so they matched what happened...

They'll probably get here eventually, if they're not here already. Granted it'll be harder for them to control a narrative, but they'll probably try with bots/paid commentors and complicit moderators.

That can still happen, right? Is there something special about the fediverse that prevents those methods from being used to manipulate the user base's opinions?
