holy shit, I finally managed to log in again. Idk what went wrong but nothing I did worked until I straight up downloaded a new browser to open this site

No one I know plays it but I beat Nightmare King Grimm in Hollow Knight this morning and I'm still riding that high hours later.

A weird thing I noticed this morning:

I've lived in an area with a heavy train presence my whole life. Freight trains have been an extremely common sight for me over the years. This morning I saw my first freight train that was straight up half full or less. Just car after car with nothing on them. In the past they would be stacked 2 high with semi trailers but a huge chunk of the train was just empty cars. It was eerie. It feels like a portent of things to come.

I have one coworker who has cool politics and it's like a breath of fresh air every time we talk. I don't have to hide or adjust my language and it's so relieving.

It's funny how when my boss asked me straight up "when are you and your partner having children?" my response of "I cannot afford to have children" caused absolutely 0 introspection on his part. There is a part of me that would love to have children but I refuse to bring a child into the world under the current circumstances
