What do you mean changed equipment? I never received a new router. I still have the same one

So I've been with ATT at this house for roughly 3 years. At the time the fastest speed in my area they offered was 300 Mbps. I was happy with that.

About 18 months later I started getting mail promotional offers saying they're now offering 500 in my area for cheaper than I was paying so I called and got that offer. I was getting 300-400 Mbps throughout my house on all my devices and I was happy.

About 6 months ago my contract expired and my rate jumped up by $30. I didn't notice until 2 weeks ago when I was updating my phone bill...so I called again fully planning to cancel and go to Xfinity.

But the rep said my bill would drop $15 and I could get 1 GB download without being locked into a contract, so I agreed.

Now this is where it got funky. I'm not even getting quarter of what I was getting 2 weeks ago. I'm averaging 15-30 Mbps on my PC when literally 2 weeks ago I was getting 300. My phone is slightly better getting around 60 Mbps throughout the house. My PlayStation though has tanked similarly to my PC.

I've tried restarting the router manually and through the IP address gateway thing. I tried separating the 2.4 and 5 Ghz bands and changing the passkeys so only my PC, phone and PlayStation were connected and I even tried turning off the 2.4 Ghz and only having 5G and vice versa.

Literally do not know what the hell happened.

Anyone have any idea or tips? If I can't get this solved I'm dropping ATT and switching to Xfinity.

I'm using the default gateway that ATT sent me 3 years ago. I checked it online and it supports 5G speeds. Obviously no WiFi 6 or 6E.

It'll be a problem for all if Apple becomes a monopoly
