I actually didn't know you could downgrade. Any pros/cons?

it says im on version 1.6.1170.0.8. I have the Improved Alternate Conv Cam AE installed, Smooth Cam AE through the FOMOD installed. The other 2 say they are compatible with both SE and AE so i dont think there would be an issue there unless im missed something in the installation process.

I should note im playing on linux so maybe there's something im doing wrong that im forgetting.

Hi everyone, I've run into an odd issue that I've been trying to fix for about a week now. Four of the mods I use don't seem to load when I run the game. I've reinstalled them and the visual redistributable stuff multiple times. I've even gone so far as to uninstall Skyrim and MO2 for linux and redownload everything. I can load into the game just fine and the mods appear in MCO but i cant adjust the settings and they dont function. If anyone could help I would be very grateful.

Armorpaint might be what you are looking for. Blender texture painting is nice, but Armorpaint is much closer to the substance painter experience.

Edit: For example, with Blender texture painting, unless you're familiar with nodes, you would usually only set up one texture at a time.

Armorpaint also uses nodes, but it also uses a layer system just like substance painter. You can then modify the texture using nodes if you want to.

It's the best of both worlds

That's basically it. It looks good and feels nice to use. Looking forward to a more complete version.
