Yeah I had seen that one but it seems to be just for the Apple environment and I only have Androids... thanks though.

That is an excellent tip, thank you so much! It seems that all apps should be able to do something so simple, and in this case, a tap at the bottom of the screen brings that section to the middle automatically, looks great.

Tomorrow I'll play around with trying to load songs I want so I can then figure out how I'll download a mass of them so I can import there.

I'm trying to find the optimal setup for me but I'm struggling with it, I'd love to hear your suggestions.

  • I wanted something that I can have a lyrics data bank for me to use offline if I need to.
  • I wanted to be able to tap and flip the page... not scroll. Scroll requires me to be precise on the move during a song... can't do it. A pedal would work but this is for me to play at campfires and stuff, I don't want to carry a Bluetooth pedal around.

I downloaded Ultimate Guitar and it's good in the sense that it has a lot of songs... but the autoscroll sucks because sometimes there's a section in the middle with details of a riff and I don't want to do that so I have to stop and move the song forwards. I guess if there's an app that would download the lyrics/chords and keep it on the phone and another that simply reads files and I can tap and turn a page, that would work as well.. How do you guys do it?

Seriously... it's been almost a year that Bolsonaro has been impeded from participating in any elections for the next 8 years.

He was there during the coup attempt actually, he left days before he finished his term. He eventually came back a few months into 2023.

Chickens coming home to roost, finally.

BRASILIA, Feb 8 (Reuters) - Brazil's federal police on Thursday sought to confiscate former President Jair Bolsonaro's passport and arrest some of his closest aides, sources said, as part of an investigation into an alleged coup attempt after he lost the 2022 election.

The operation reflects a tightening net around Bolsonaro, his family and some of his most powerful allies for actions before and after his unsuccessful reelection effort. The confiscation of his passport will be especially worrying for the former president, a far-right firebrand who cast himself as a Brazilian version of former U.S. President Donald Trump.

Thank you. I got the SER6 with Ryzen 9. Let's see how it goes.

Yep, I was leaning into the Steam Deck this morning when some folks said I could do it without a dock, and having it in my hands for gaming would be nice, but I'm now going to the Beelink camp simply because I don't want hassle when I use it as a regular PC. and for the same price I get more capabilities with the Beelink.

Thanks for your insight.

Okay, that's an interesting opinion. What do you mean by 45% of the Steam Deck experience? And by 'you could do both', you mean buy both? lol

That's great, that is definitely pulling me to the Deck side. Thank you!

Thanks. I will look into the Deck's default OS more closely to see its advantages and disadvantages. I don't want to spend too much time fiddling around with stuff so if I can keep that that'd be great. The handheld aspect would not be its primary use but it definitely is a big plus. To top it off, it seems that using a stacked dongle like these for HDMI/USB ports/charging would do the job of the dock, that would seal the deal, I think. Should this dock be enough in terms of battery for charging, HDMI, an external disk, and a couple of Bluetooth joystick receivers? https://www.amazon.ca/UGREEN-Revodok-Ethernet-Docking-Station/dp/B0BNBJFFB2/ref=sr_1_6?crid=2SDJV6TQJWS5M&keywords=usb%2Bhdmi%2Bcharging%2Bhub%2Bdock&qid=1706281163&refinements=p_36%3A12035762011&rnid=12035759011&s=electronics&sprefix=usb%2Bhdmi%2Bcharging%2Bhub%2Bdoc%2Caps%2C94&sr=1-6&th=1

Hey all, I want to upgrade the setup that I use on my RV. I use a Raspberry Pi 3 for basically watching videos and some retro gaming. I want to be able to play more resource-intensive games, although definitely do not require anything AAA in the highest settings - I'm talking about Starcraft 2, Shieldwall, TABS, Humankind... basically anything that runs fine on my 4-year old System76 Gazelle, that has a GeForce GTX 1650 card.

I thought I had to upgrade it to a mini PC and I was looking into some Beelink ones with good GPUs, but then I realized the existence of handhelds like Steam Deck and ASUS ROG Ally. What appealed to me is their lightness when compared with a mini PC. Right now I have a Command strip on my Raspberry Pi and I just stick it to the wall; I was trying to avoid mounting yet another thing on the shabby wooden beam of the trailer where I have the TV screen mounted. Also it seems that the mini PC fan could be noisier than what I'm used to with the Pi, and the handhelds would be better on that front as well.

However, the Pi and the Beelink seem to be better suited for connections - by that I mean the external USB drive where I keep my movies and series, the joystick dongles for our pair of GameSir T4s... if I understand correctly, the dock is what provides this sort of connectivity to the Deck, which means I can't just hang it in any way, it would have to be sitting on the dock, mounted somehow to the wall. That is doable, but I've read as well that connecting USB drives is not very straightforward (I do plan to install Ubuntu on the Deck and use the software I want, not the interface that comes with it).

I also plan to do some light browsing/working on it when I bring it home, but I'm not too worried about it because if it handles gaming, it handles those.

Am I wrong in any of these things?

Exactly. Tlaib literally says its meaning is of peaceful coexistence. There is absolutely no comparison with the woman above saying all Palestinians should be dead.

DriveTest.ca website even says the camera shouldn't be used for assisting, but this guy seems to want her to look at the tracing drawn by the rear camera to calculate the positioning and the turns she's supposed to make. That sounds crazy to me. Should she look for another instructor? She was recommended this one by colleagues in her ESL school. This is for the G2 road test by the way.

Edit: I get that it's useful to have the camera, but I guess what you are missing is that she's not learning how to do it, she knows, she wants to know how to do it in the way the G2 tester expects her to do it.
