Honestly, at this point, I’ve seen enough of these posts and heard first hand (especially from older folks I know) the confusion between AppleTV (the box) and AppleTV+ (the service, and what it actually even is) that this is squarely apple’s fault. It’s a branding issue. Apple needs to consider rebranding one or both of these products and better explain to the layman that AppleTV+ is just a section of the AppleTV app and not the whole app.

Sub $100 price point is the only important thing here. If they can bring their top of the line streamer below $100 then maybe they can really start making waves in the streaming-device market. Maybe then, Netflix will finally integrate properly.

I’d be fine if they just enforced their player on ever app. Other than that, I don’t think it’s necessary but Amazon and max have the worst players. Hell, Max doesn’t even tell you how many minutes into a program you are. The most basic function, and they can’t even do that right.
