As a photographer, the idea of the copyright system being thrown away is horrifying to me. I've already seen my work appear on book covers and all over the internet with zero compensation for my time, energy, skills, or the money I spent making the images. This stuff happening is already morally shrugged off by society, God knows how bad it would be if it was also legal.

I'm cautiously optimistic about Punk. I'm hoping that he's a smart business man and all this anti-elite crap is just to set up a feud, because that would be awesome. If he's sincere and this literally tears AEW apart, I'm going to hate him until his final day. As for the bag, it's his world title belt. He said he never lost it and it's his until someone beats him.

I wish they actually did a bit of research on why people are protesting. Saying the third party apps simply "keep communities vibrant" completely misses some major points. Personally, I'm more furious how spez handled the AMA. He showed that the reddit staff has no interest in listening to anything that concerns the community. We're all just an obstacle between them and their deserved money.

I'll have to find it, but multiple places he's talked about Reddit being used by companies to train their AI systems. It's painfully obvious that he's looking for both moral and immoral ways to monetize Reddit immediately. I give it 3 months before this is announced.

Spez is already talking about monetizing users account histories. Just blocking the ads isn't going to stop them.

R.I.P. Reddit.
