Possibly. Some XPS models (~9310) cheaped out on the WiFi chipset, which was really bad at reconnecting after sleep/suspend on Win 10/11 right out off the box.

Tried a live Linux install and it worked perfectly, so made the switch as there was no Win-only software that I needed.

This is the thing with my CPU. It has TPM, it's enabled, and the upgrade tool says that's fine. The installer doesn't make it clear what the issue is, it's like: Congrats, your CPU satisfies these three bullet points, but no, you still can't have Win 11.

Purchased! I had Steep and Star Trek Bridge Crew in my account at the time.

This was two years ago, mind, Ubis terms might have changed since then.

People who haven't gotten into habit of googling stuff in the last 20 years might not get into it at all anymore because of how search engines are gamed with SEO spam tactics nowadays by BlueDwaggin in c/[email protected]

That used to work, but these days seems to do little other than sightly change the order of the same useless results.

The "just google it" mantra has probably held back quite a lot of interesting conversations and debate by BlueDwaggin in c/[email protected]
