Most are just kind persons or just attention seeking. As soon as they see any engagement, they´ll lose interest and leave.

If you self-host it, you´re actually more open to lesser vector of attack, since I really doubt you will go into building robust security solutions with your personal IP. That includes local law enforcement or criminal elements just taking your server.

You´re technically a criminal in their eyes, and hence if they decide to boost their dictatorship into looking for the people don´t like, they will have legal basis to order for the server databases and fuck you up....

At least they will live knowing that they did the right thing in the eyes of evil. I doubt they will remain without work tho, MSFT in their CV will still weight a lot, and as the world is becoming more and more antizio, they will eventually find a good place among non assholes and nazi collaborators.

PopOS/Cosmis has native Nvidia support, works perfectly out of the box

Yeah, but if the indeed come and try to sue you, a competent lawyer will force the case dismissal and they will end up having to review whatever law they pass.

This was an issue that appeared when writing heavy files to disks (50gb+), so people that werent doing it were safe. And don't worry, its a matter of when LOL. I was a windows "virgin" until one day my system drive appeared encrypted and locked by bitlocker when I never activated it, nor had any recovery key.

It was probably done for free by some volunteer dude.... You can contact them and offer to fix it for free probably

[-] BehavioralClam@lemmy.ml 1 points 5 months ago

yeah, most of the world already moved on from it, but its still being used in many texts and countries.

Its the same take that's applied to any party seen as a "status quo". Your boss, the CEO, police, the state, movies, everything is "projected" to show something that it isn't to subtly manipulate the basis of your decisions.

They are only using the cause to promote their brand social responsibility probably. In any case, the issue with the distorted view of the map that ideologically and politically benefited one side has been known for decades, and most of the countries that were colonies now use the correct one.
