Feel like the steps typically go the other way

Technically, yes, you are correct because I don’t inhale at all lol

I have bad lungs, so I’ve only had edibles and shit like that. The first one I tried was 15mg..? I know one of my stoner friends only took a half because a full one was “too much for right now” idk what that means since we basically just sat around and watched movies.

Tbf, that time I think it might have made me slightly more likely to laugh at stupid shit, but it was also the first time I’d been with my old friends in a while, so maybe I was just in a more relaxed mood already. Didn’t really feel any other affects.

All other times have been unremarkable. Also I really am not a fan of being able to faintly smell/taste THC for days afterwards.

Idk if I’ve completely missed the joke here, but seriously this is me with alcohol and weed and even stimulants.

The only affect I get from alcohol is a headache or slight dizziness if I drink a significant amount. THC doesn’t seem to do anything at all, and stimulants typically just make me sleepy or anxious or nothing at all (I’m ADHD)

While “varying degrees of hostility” seems valid, I don’t really agree in most cases.

“AI” is a very useful predictive tool especially in like biochemistry, but gen AI for images, especially using corpo models, is a really horrible use of it.

Trying to generate an image using a pixel by pixel based model is like trying to approximate pi using a simulation of sliding blocks, counting collisions. Will it work? Yeah. Is it very accurate? Not really unless you waste a shit ton of time and processing power.

The energy cost alone is a significant reason to despise AI generated art, but add to it the fact you’re using other people’s work without crediting them, and the fact that using and hyping up this art encourages other corpos to build their own models, wasting even more energy and practically DDOSing sites to scrape data…

Doesn’t seem like this stuff is very redeemable.

I guess I don’t have anything against personal models trained on data with permission from the artists and run locally. Hell, if you know the style you want, it’s best to train with just that style and not all the art on the internet, but if you’re already putting in that much time, you could probably just pay an artist or draw it yourself.

(Don’t tell me I chose the wrong instance lol I’m aware)

If we’re going to have a dictator’s face plastered everywhere, why’d we have to get one that looks so stupid?

Like big brother in 1984 at least fits the vibe of authority and power. Big brother exudes the aura of intelligence and confident control… but Trump just looks like some geriatric pedo who has the cognitive faculties of a half dead badger (because he is lol)

A poster of Trump doesn’t inspire fear; it makes me think “making eye contact with this poster will probably lower my IQ”

Why can’t we have a more aesthetic dystopian collapse?

This is unrelated to the content, but do you think the overuse of the word “slams” in recent headlinesmoght be a symptom of model decay?

Like maybe some AI noticed the word “slams” in headlines, so it started using it when producing headlines so the word “slams” becomes even more prevalent in headlines so new models scrape even more headlines with “slams” in it and the cycle just continues as AI start to think all headlines have to include the word slams?
