What is PullPush?

PullPush is an anti-censorship project built around a simple idea: Reddit content shouldn't disappear without a trace.

Whether it's a comment removed by moderators or a post lost when an account gets banned — PullPush helps preserve it. It's a public archive that lets anyone search and access Reddit posts and comments, even if they've been deleted on the original site.

Why it exists

Reddit has become more restrictive over time — clamping down on third-party apps, limiting access to its data, and removing content with little transparency. PullPush exists as a response to that growing control. It’s a tool for:

  • Uncovering deleted discussions
  • Holding moderators and admins accountable
  • Preserving history for researchers and curious minds
  • Reclaiming access to public conversations

How it works (without the tech jargon)

PullPush uses previously published data from a project called Pushshift, which archived a massive chunk of Reddit. It now offers a powerful search engine that anyone can use, no coding required.

Want to look up an old Reddit comment that was removed?
Check what people said about a topic before it was scrubbed from a subreddit?
See the early days of a meme, a movement, or a scandal?

Just head to pullpush.io and start searching.

Tools you can try

  • Reddit Search – Find deleted or existing posts/comments by keyword, author, subreddit, date, etc.
  • Reddit Undelete – Explore what was removed, when, and where.
  • API Access – For developers or researchers to query the archive directly.
  • Discord – Join the discussion with others who care about online transparency.

PullPush is an unapologetic way to keep the internet open, searchable, and accountable and it's going to be that way forever.
