I don't really care for either performance as it's pre-season and fitness is key. The worrying thing is that the players who've just played 45m look much sharper than the first XI from yesterday.

He's out of contract next summer so he would be free. We're basically buying him for โฌ35m a year before his contract expires but paying most of it next year, presumably for FFP reasons this year.
