lol we aren’t going to name them but they’re 16, twins, and their initiales are x and y. They did all the narrowing down needed for everyone to know without breaking the law and I love it
Do not doxx yourself
Are these the idiots that were also kicking in doors of homes owned by black families?
why can a school accomplish what a supreme court can not ?
Obviously this sucks, but it's also quite interesting. They call themselves American Banderites. Banderites were far right Ukrainian nationalists, but since WW2 the term has mainly been used by Soviet propaganda and by the Putin regime:
This is why Ukrainians sometimes call themselves Judeo-Banderites, as a joke about how many Jewish people support the supposedly Nazi regime in Kiev and its Jewish president. Obviously, Ukraine does have a far right, but they're incredibly marginalised:
This was a bit of a tangent, but it sounds like these kids may have been influenced by Russian propaganda. Certainly interesting how the far right is divided over Ukraine, with some supporting Russia and some supporting Ukraine, despite the whole Jewish president and relatively pro-LGBT thing.
Why does their insignia have Russian at the bottom? Based on my basic understand of Russian, and what can be seen, it looks to be a (literal) translation of American Banderite Network
Hmm Russia and far-right neo-nazis groups across the globe?
What an odd combination, who could ever imagine why they might be linked.
Not sure, but it is very likely Obama's fault. Also Hillary's. /s
Its probably Ukrainian. Their name is in reference to a Ukrainian nationalist group.
The Banderites were Ukrainian fascists who collaborated with the Nazis in killing Jews and Poles. (Also, the script is called Cyrillic, not Russian. Just as English's script is called Latin.)
Interesting choice to reveal their initials
"For the sake of privacy let's call her Lisa S... No that's too obvious, let's say L. Simpson."
In legal documents juveniles are aways referred to be initials, so they're just mimicking that. It is shocking that a news outlet didn't just report the entire names though since they aren't legally obligated to protect it like the court is, as long as it's obtained legally. It's just really bad practice since most kids eventually mature and move on from stuff like this when given the right environments.
I see. The courts over here don't reveal names untill the sentence is passed. Unless you are a person of public interest
That sounds like a much better way of doing it.
Scary! I’m so glad the school did the right thing here
I am actually confused on how this could happen, and why people would join?
Where does it say they were expelled?
Right there in the title! Duh!
Kidding. I searched and the only reference I saw was a posting on reddit.
