Ngl, I'm actually getting legit excited for the shit show this will become.

Lemmyverse better get its servers ready because I'm sure there will be an exodus.

I'm mostly excited to gamble on its downfall.

I've used old.reddit for over 10 years but looking at it now I realize that I just never had a better alternative. The default Lemmy interface is so nice and clean that I'd never even think about switching again.

Anyone remember when reddit was "pro css" but then silently moved on anyway?

Even in new reddit they had “Custom CSS (coming soon)” in the subreddit settings greyed out for years as if they would have even considered adding it. They just tried to dongle the fish in front of our noses.

They've started spamming my old accounts and emails with reminders that I only have until March 5 to get into their preferred redditor IPO thing. I'm guessing they're either desperate for investors, or they're desperate for numbers to show off at the IPO to say his incredibly much interest there is.

Still no word on what class stock they're offering to redditors, but I fully expect it'll be non-voting class C shares. Fuck spez.

What date is the IPO exactly? Or when is stage I?
