A place to discuss pro-conservative stuff

  1. Be excellent to each other. Civility, No Racism, No Bigotry, No Slurs, No calls to violences, No namecalling, All that good stuff, follow lemm.ee's rules, follow the rules of your instance, etc.

  2. We are a Pro-Conservative forum. Posts must have a clear pro-conservative, or anti left-wing bias. We are interested in promoting conservatism and discussing things that might get ignored elsewhere. All sources are acceptable, however reputable sources with a reputation for factual reporting are preferred.

  3. Dissent is allowed in the comments, but try to be constructive; if you do not agree, then provide a reason which is backed up by references or a reasonable alternative interpretation of the provided facts. That means the left wing is welcome to state their opinions, but please keep it in good faith.

A polite request, not a rule, if you feel the need to report a comment, please don't reply to it.

https://www.cnn.com/2024/02/02/us/justin-mohn-pennsylvania-man-father-beheading-friday/index.html

During the online diatribe, Mohn rails against the Biden administration and the border crisis... At one point, he holds up what looks like a bloodied head inside a clear plastic bag, the video shows.

“America is rotting from the inside out as far left, woke mobs rampage our once prosperous cities,” Mohn says in the video, which he titled: “Mohn’s Militia – Call to Arms for American Patriots,” according to a criminal complaint.

What's awful is the sensational headlines holding up a mentally ill person in need of help as a spectacle to goggle at in righteous horror. What's inaccurate is to pretend a mentally ill person in need of help is an example of the typical urban democrat or the typical rural republican. That's what's inaccurate. Anyone with a moral compass and a modicum of perception would be able to see that, and a shred of honesty to admit it.

Instead of moral compass and honesty we flood the airwaves and social media with shocking and lurid details of how awful the other side is. It's inaccurate and dishonest in the same way people say "I'm just pointing out facts" or I'm just asking questions."

God bless America.
