We just have 1 owl stamp at the moment. Part of the Winter Woodland Animals set if anyone is interested.
There is a framed collectors print if anyone is reeeeally interested.

Those are really cute, also as we're admiring art here's this by Charley Harper-
Found here
He's definitely worth checking out, I managed to get a hardback of a gorgeous book for half price not long ago, it's full of beautiful art
There's a lot of cool ones on there. He even did a GHO eating a skunk! 😂
Thanks for sharing that!
That is great!
I find it really amazing at how an artist/designer can depict their subject by condensing the visual information to the bare minimum, but without losing sight of what they are trying to portray. You know it's an owl, and you know it's a skunk.
It's the essence of it, beautifully rendered
I would definitely grab those!
What's with all the extra stuff on the bottom of the owl stamps that the other 2 don't have?
Probably some flashcode to track the letter. There is different "plan" offer by different type of stamps. This one is for "courrier suivi", "tracked mail".
Unfortunately, I saw the owls one just when I bought my booklet. I should have bought this one as well, stamps don't go bad...
Thank you, that makes a lot of sense. I was wondering if that was part of the actual stamp, so if it's tracked mail, it would seem it is.
Otherwise it seemed strange how they printed those compared to the other 2 sets!
Some of our stamps go bad in a way. When they change the price, you have to buy extra stamps to up the value or you can't use them. We do have more "Forever Stamps" now that are good regardless of rate change.
When they change the price, you have to buy extra stamp
We don't do that here. That's why I bought mine just before new year, before the price when up. You can also do that with bus ticket if you don't take it enough to justify a subscription.
Europe gives us plenty to aspire to... 😁
For owls that are superb.

If you find an injured owl:
Note your exact location so the owl can be released back where it came from. Contact a licensed wildlife rehabilitation specialist to get correct advice and immediate assistance.
Minimize stress for the owl. If you can catch it, toss a towel or sweater over it and get it in a cardboard box or pet carrier. It should have room to be comfortable but not so much it can panic and injure itself. If you can’t catch it, keep people and animals away until help can come.
Do not give food or water! If you feed them the wrong thing or give them water improperly, you can accidentally kill them. It can also cause problems if they require anesthesia once help arrives, complicating procedures and costing valuable time.
If it is a baby owl, and it looks safe and uninjured, leave it be. Time on the ground is part of their growing up. They can fly to some extent and climb trees. If animals or people are nearby, put it up on a branch so it’s safe. If it’s injured, follow the above advice.
