Iona Lake sounds like "I own a lake"
I grew up with a school called "iona college" and you best believe we made this joke every 2 seconds
Hahaha I didn't get it thanks
Can someone explain it to the native speaker too
I beleive its: her name is 'Iona Lake' Could be heard as 'Im on a lake', bragging about how she is spending her time on a lake.
"Iona" is pronounced like "I own a" - so "I own a lake."
Done blame me, english is only my first and only language.
you should speak something else
Aint nobody got time for that!
I'm a native speaker. This "meme" is a shitpost.
Weird flex but okay
