To be fair, books are rather ineffective at killing Palestinian children. We gave many chances to the New York Public Library, but they have failed to rectify this issue. Market efficiency says that Israel should receive those funds instead.

Incredible how many fake news regarding Gaza are on lemmy. The public library in New York has not been closed due to budget cuts. Thats plain and simple fake news: https://www.nypl.org/speakout

In November they did announce they were closing on Sundays due to budget cuts [1]. From what I can tell, that went into effect in mid-December [2]. The budget cuts were reversed last week [3]. So as far as I can tell, they were in fact closed for awhile.
