It looks like a rebranded Yinding or Rayten LED that is already used for a while in other flashlights. It's definitely not their own development or production.

@SammysHP @flashlight I'm sure we'll know when it actually comes out. Their "tailor-made" language suggests they're having a manufacturer produce a bespoke design for them.

I'm sure Nitecore hasn't build their own semiconductor fab just to make an LED, but smaller manufacturers might be up for semi-custom runs.

Cool but im like 95% sure its just a rebranded led. You need a LOT of money to just start making leds willy nilly.
