“Austerity” it’s just politician-speak for fucking over poor people with tax cuts for the rich.

Someone needs to take this guy and his humanity pass amd bury him under 2 meters of shit

What is the logic behind this? Serious question

It’s easier to take money from poor people than rich people

[-] [email protected] 13 points 1 year ago

Poor people can’t afford lawyers to fight this kind of thing in court.

You'd be surprised at how many people in the UK demonise foreigners and benefit claimants. Sunak has basically done nothing outside of support populism, so this is just a grab to try to get both conservatives that want lower taxes, and flag-shaggers that love Brexit, hate foreigners and freeloaders, etc.

If you fall on hard times and need the help and support of your community you're weak and unproductive and should be disposed of so someone more productive can move in to your domicile unit and pick up where you left off. It's just good business.

Please stop thinking and get back to work. Don't forget, it's Hawaiian shirt day on Friday!

"Fuck the poor"

These are conservatives we're talking about. That's the beginning and end of their logic.

The figleaf is the usual trickle down "tax cuts will boost the economy, rising tide all boats, yada yada" nonsense that has been resoundingly discredited for decades. It doesn't matter. The tories don't care because they know they're just doing this to make rich people richer at the expense of poor people, and their voters don't care because they'll believe anything if it means fucking over immigrants.

Probably because “fuck ‘em, what they gonna do?”.

  1. More money for us
  2. Fuck you

It's class war. Plain and simple. The rich have been fighting a class war on everybody else and a lot of people unfortunately seen to enjoy being fleeced.

I'm so confused as to what they've been doing the past 15 years and still hasn't got the results they claim it will.. 🤔🤔🤔

Oh come on guys, it's not like he's married to a greedy billionaire wealth-hoarder who is directly contributing to the poverty in the UK .

Give the guy a break, I heard he had to wear a washed pair of socks once

[-] [email protected] 3 points 1 year ago

Hey, let’s not forget that time he almost put fuel in a car!

The UK is effectively colonizing its own people

[-] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

They've got the biggest and best resume when it comes to colonizin; can't let all that experience go to waste!

[-] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Another Bengal Famine but this time Britain is thinking globally and acting locally.

[-] [email protected] 10 points 1 year ago

Of course. Why tax the wealthy when you can starve the poor even harder for existing. Assholes

[-] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

That's right, f.... the poor, they have no lobby anyway! Tories are reverse Robin Hoods.

Sunak and the Tories trying not to be awful people challenge (100% impossible).

Sunak is still coping with being bullied.
