The page was just made so not a lot of sign ups, but last year was a great success and I hope lots of people join this year!

I'm interested to see what they come up with and will it be safe to play while driving a car?

Why would it be safe? Playing games requires active attention which is a thing you can't spare while driving.

does listening to podcasts require active attention?

Excuse me. Ignoring the terrible idea of playing games while driving...

Since when are blind people driving?

[–] [email protected] 2 points 10 months ago (1 children)

no I meant that people who are not blind might be able to play and drive a car at the same time

I'm going to re-raise the point about playing games while driving being the worst idea I've heard this year.

Can't wait to see it!

The only game I know of that is playable blind as-is is A Blind Legend.

It's really interesting as a concept, but not a ton of fun for me.

If you're interested in more, you can try out here: https://audiogames.net/search-games/

Also one of the best ones in recent memory that I know of: https://store.steampowered.com/app/989790/The_Vale_Shadow_of_the_Crown/

If you're wondering about a specific genre, I can maybe fine you more examples! Then of course the previous jams have some smaller games.

Usually the community gets a handful of decent games each year, but still not a ton.
