A question for #Arsenal fans, @arsenalfc.social and anyone from @gunners who might see this:
The screenshot shows a paragraph from the Athletic's news item about a rape case involving a PL figure. It says this person was recently investigated about a rape complain then mentions another case from the 1990s. Surely that means the unnamed figure can't be the Arsenal player, since he was only born in the 90s?

@ronsboy67 @arsenalfc.social @gunners confident this is another case entirely. Likely not a current player, is my assumption

@gamblingblues @arsenalfc.social @gunners yeah, the 1990s thing rules out any active player. Twitter did have a photo of someone connected with Rice's former team leaving a police station recently. That person would be old enough to fit

As someone not in the UK, could you tell me who? Just curious.

@Astrealix I'm not in the UK either, and the image was likely malicious specualtion, but the person in question must be in admin/coaching/ ownership etc to be old enough to have committed similar crimes 30 years ago

David Sullivan was the person seen leaving the police staton
