How did adidas make a worse away kit for Man U

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 year ago

At least the natural order is preserved

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 year ago

I really feel like Adidas dropped the ball for everything this year, like who is the head that approved all of that? Who on the teams approved of that?

So I was watching some of NBC's Premier League Summer series matches, and those teams are playing pretty freely and having fun...

Why couldn't our match have been like that?!

Didn't like the pitchside interviews though, sorry Rebecca.

And I do hope our guys don't catch enterovirus from Barca...

Cuz people think tackling us hard is fair game even in a fucking friendly

And oil rich country gives another oil rich country 300 million for a Footballer. I'm not sure if they understand the point of sportswashing.

I don't plan to watch a second of it. Good for Mbappe. That is generational wealth. His grandkids will be rich as will theirs.

If Mbappe goes to Al-Hilal for 300m we can kiss this sport goodbye lmfao. AFC CL is already boutta be fucked over by what the saudis have been pumping into their teams...

They've accepted the bid.... That's crazy what fuck-you money can do

@MHPengwingz @Astrealix honestly, who do they think is actually going to watch that football?

[–] [email protected] 5 points 1 year ago (1 children)

@WorldcupCSR @MHPengwingz @Astrealix
No one has to. That’s the point. They can drain Europe of all talent and still not care if anyone watches. It whitewashes their human rights abuses and makes it so we can’t really see the best players play. LIV Golf is the same.

Agree. LIV put their US TV rights with the CW, that's how much they care about having an audience or not. They can boast that they run a tour of a "rich person's sport" and say look how posh we are. The fact that PGA sold out eventually does not help.

Meanwhile my local club can't afford the ~6 million HK dollars (bit under 1 mil USD) to turn professional...

Anyone wanna explain the Ashburton Army situation to an overseas fan?

[–] [email protected] 5 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Basically a bunch of ultra wannabes who got their ticket allotment cut (so did other fan groups btw) and are whining because they apparently are the ones that drive the atmosphere at the Emirates so they are "important" so to speak.

Yeah a whole bunch of white dudes dressed in dark colors and occasionally masks with people who make that type of comments is not a good look, especially the team probably doesn't want anything that controversial for optics. Besides, if they really are such "diehards", get a season ticket. Let Arsenal have a chance to grab other people's money and let others get to go to the games.
