I feel like it was really popular for dads to have these in the 90s and 2000s, my dad also had a set.

Not my dad, but a relative. I'd always try to rotate them around each other in my one hand without them touching each other because I didn't want to mess up the finish lol

You put them in one hand and rotate them against each other. The motion and the chiming is soothing. You can practice using each hand, switching direction etc. it’s like stress relief/meditation
