laptop is up there to stop the light from falling when the birds fly onto it. i have an extra kb and mouse attached so i dont have to reach. both pc and laptop are hooked to the big tv, just have to pick the input. my main pc is behind the headphones/mic on the right side of the curved screen

Looks like the laptop is the only computer, so the rest of the gear is connected to it. It's probably floating to save desk space, as he doesn't need the touchpad and keyboard.
