The pages at the back of the Citadel Journal used to contain 'Dok Butcha's Klinik' where they used to suggest examples of the kinds of conversions you could make from the citadel miniature range.
Remember when you could order bits just for the hell of it! I still have that big book with all the bits and partcodes somewhere. I used to pore over that for hours.

I know exactly what you mean, I still have the big catalogues from the start of the 90s and am very guilty of staring at them for too long.
And then foolishly looking at the price of the miniatures on eBay! Oh my
