I for one an amazed at how well Arteta has done, and to have your name echoed in the same sentence as Pep and Klopp is incredible, and it's his first managerial job.
I know we may not win the league, but to be in that discussion is an amazing feeling and I'm happy we aren't some joke of a club like United or Chelsea are at this point.
I concur, at least we are back in the conversation. The banter years were tough times even if they were relatively short-lived. Trust the process and the patience has paid off.
Silly season is right around the corner and I am excited for so many reasons.
It's also somehow Dec 13 and I keep wondering where the time has gone. I hope everyone has been preparing for Christmas ahead of time, cause by golly time is running out and fast! So fucking excited for the holidays this year!
Gonna be going and buying some presents probably today; finals season is busy as heck but this stuff matters lol
As an aside, i think we need to tame expectations for silly season this January. The raya deal shows we're already tight on FFP, plus our women's team literally has more players than we can register already cuz Gio didn't go on loan. Need to sell to buy on both ends, and not much to sell imo.
I think we have a few players who may need to evaluate their future: Holding, Cedric, Partey Jorginho, Elneny, ESR, and Ramsdale. You are probably right in that we sell players, and maybe look to the summer to spend.
Man... love the guy but Holding's gone, you need to let go.
Tbh besides Cedric and Partey I think I'm fine with keeping all the rest, unless they want to leave.
I'm fine with them all leaving IF we have the chance to upgrade. I'd like ESR to stay but I wonder if his career would do better elsewhere.

Aren't they playing Liverpool? I'd rather they all be fit so they could at least do some damage to actual rivals.
