Phone / no Android rom recommendation

Hello all,
I am looking to upgrade my phone and ditch Google along the way. I am researching a lot about Lineage OS and Graphene OS. Linux on phones isn't quite ready if I read correctly.

I am looking into feedback of experience of non Android phones please.

Thank you very much!

What are your needs and what specific problems are you trying to address by changing platforms?

@Ghostalmedia I have signed off Netflix Amazon prime Spotify, replaced it with sonar radarr lidarr etc.. I'm a long time Linux user. Very recently switched all social media by fediverse. I want to completely disconnect from Google and that implies getting rid of Android.

Interesting. So basically you’re looking for experiences that aren’t owned and operated by tech giants.

This might be worth posting in an open source community. I was going to recommend some stuff, but it was just stuff owned by an even bigger company. ;)

What's the goal here? Getting rid of Google Apps?

Keep in mind flashing your phone voids the warranty.

@orhtej3 iam okay with the warranty, I never use the built in os of devices usually.

As explained in the other comment (my bad, should have made a better original post) I am looking to completely disconnect from Google. I have been working even on a peertube and migrated my YouTube channel.
