Apple quietly lowered the daily spending cap for some engineers using AI models to $200 from $300

$200 a day for an individual person? WTF?

    So it almost doubles the cost of a worker and at best increases their productivity by 30% at the cost of longer working hours.

    WTF indeed, who looked at this and thought this was a good idea!?

    Given the techbro love of all things AI, I'm honestly kind of surprised they had any limit at all. If they had a limit, I'd expect it to be a minimum limit -- all employees must use at least $200 a day.
