Ghost in the Wires is a great book of his with lots of early hacking shenanigans in it. Highly recommend.
I really loved The Art of Deception. So many fascinating cases.
Sad to hear. Enjoyed him as a guest in the early days of This Week in Tech. Brilliant mind.
I watched the Disrupt video on him literally yesterday. Rest in peace.

Will his casket be a blue box?
RIP.
Hex(0xDEADBEEF) Rip Kevin
Way younger than I expected. 59 is young.
His wife looks like she's 18 based on social media photos.
She's pregnant with his first child. I don't know how old she is, but 60 is pretty old for your first child. But besides the cancer, he seemed to be happy.
Phantom phreaking.
Shit. Now I need to watch takedown again.
Gone to the great terminal in the sky. RIP.
Here is ‘Freedom Downtime’ the 2600 documentary that covers some of his story and the Free Kevin movement. https://youtu.be/B2ac98FUMq8

What a legend, and that's a shitty way to go. Sorry for his family.
Specially the part about him not doing it for money. He was just intellectually curious and wanted to see if he could do it. Same reason a lot of us enjoy programming at home.
Damn. RIP to a real one.
Man, I remember reading about blue boxes and chrome boxes and not fully understanding it all, but it was fun learning about that stuff.
