spent Día de los Muertos down at a lowrider show in Tacoma and in addition to the best cup of champurrado I’ve ever had, I cannot possibly recommend that experience enough - lowrider culture brings such immense joy to my heart, the vibes, the craftsmanship, the lore, the music, it’s all so good

Two weeks ago I drove through Tacoma and saw a couple lowrider El Caminos; I think one was broken because the front of the vehicle was pointed downward directly at the pavement with the ass end about 5ft in the air. Looked like he was giving i5 a real close inspection.

Found this dia de los muertos pic from Mexico City on rednote, thought it was neat

You should only be allowed to own a car if you're doing this kind of shit to it

I got to go to a dia de lost muertos festival this weekend with my kids and ex-wife who is from Mexico.

I had so much fucking fun. I got to walk around eating turkey legs and roasted corn. I had so many tamales dude. I got to see synchronized lowriders, who had the lowest lowrider, I got to watch a height contest, a lowrider parade. I've never seen so much three wheel motion lol. There were beautiful women, handsome men, skeletons, luchadores, a giant La Catrina sculpture.

It was fun to see a fusion of west coast G-funk and Chicano culture which is what ive spent my entire life in. It was one of the best times I've had in a very long time and I'm thankful for this culture even though I'm absolute white trash.
