I like Mason's ("67 guy") ice cream hairstyle/haircut. I thought that was called Wings but ice cream hair was new to me

Maybe a little more understated/less flare-outey but thr general form I am envious of

I personally really liked the hairstyle Frankie from Fosters Home For Imaginary Friends had. So absolutely hers. It's also coincidentally the hairstyle my fursona uses because I love it so much.

Oh I'd like my hair, just more consistent not such a mix of curly-wavy-coarse-fine. And sometimes I wish it would go up not just flow downward. But the overall loose curls I like and it's holding up nicely, and feel lucky it's hair I like.

    1. Anything Cavill wears; even the poofy Mission Impossible one. Honestly. I just wish I looked like that guy.
    2. Heath ledger in "10 things" or "knights tale"; and not just because he smooched Julia styles or Shannyn Sossaman.
    3. A nice part and the hair to pull the rest off. Like the dickhead on "that thing you do".

I've started thinning, so a full head of hair is something I envy now.

Very fun and elegant in its own way. Super quirky

Lisa Rina (I only know her Celebrity Apprentice) had the female analogue to the male wings and Ice Cream Hair i think

She's definitely been seen in better days

50 year old dude. I always thought I had good hair... I'm not balding anywhere and had an amazing mullet in my teens in the early 90s.

I've kept my hair really tightly cut for most of my life, but I'm at the point professionally where my hair doesn't really matter. I could have a full mohawk and they still can't replace me. So I tried to grow my hair out because I wanted something like this:

But it turns out I probably missed my opportunity for that by a few decades because this is what grew out:

Now you may say "well that's Einstein so that would have been cool".

Einstein hair was definitely not what I was going for. πŸ˜•

Viking/Celtic style with braids like this

Or long wavy hair like this

I actually tried the braids when I grew my hair out recently. It looked so cool for the first few days but there's a whole new set of hair care issues that you need to worry about...like you can't get it wet! I had no idea how to care for my braids and had to take it out after about 10 days.

If I could afford to have the braids professionally redone weekly then I would have kept it but each braiding session was 50 bucks from a professional braider.

Alternatively if you have a partner who likes braiding hair then...maybe?

So how we do it in my neighborhood is pay moms and grandmoms who are good at it to do it, rather than a salon. But honestly, I'm in a small rural area and that's about what 19th the neighbors will charge for shoulder length hair.

That said, there are braiding tools on AliExpress that can make it faster and easier for you.

Dont braids lead to to torsion/tension alopecia?

A lot of if not majority of Black women end up either bald or with many bald spots because of it apparently due to tight hair styling

Just say no to braids. Lots of humans who did them can confirm this

This is correct. I don't braid since I was a child and my mother used to braid so tightly it made my eyes slant and water and gave me headaches. I absolutely refuse since then, but I see it a lot in my neighborhood.

But if I were to actually try to grow it this days, it would probably look more like this.

Minoxidil has potentially serious side effects.

Thats more if its centrally active like taking the minoxidil oral pill. Most people use the foam which is more benign and localized to the scalp

Yes, I looked it up and what I was thinking of was too much being used.

Yeah it a serious big boy blood pressure med, probably best to have a dr overseeing it. It seems like overkill imho for anytging but the foam

Only other issue is it can be lethal to cats and possibly dogs, which they can get contact exposure to from superficial use. Decisions, decisions

SchrΓΆdinger's haircut. It’s in the superposition of everyone having to have it and no one being allowed to have it, depending on which Western propaganda you read.
