Most of the lyrics are nonsensical glossolalia.

The song wasn't released on any studio album, to my knowledge.

This song still gives me goosebumps. I first heard it in my teens when I was still developing my musical taste and didn't care too much for it. Although I discovered Spiritchaser back then and it's become one of my favorite albums to listen to all tracks.
Rakim grew on my over the years, and I've seen this video countless times now.

Have you ever found anything similar to DCD? You asked for recommendations like 'Spiritchaser' in my thread from almost a year ago, but DCD are rather unique among anything I've heard. There's ‘The Lotus Eaters’ tribute compilation, of course, but it's not quite the same as someone standing out by themselves.

Come to think of it, perhaps neoclassical darkwave is the closest thing out there: someone like Die Verbannten Kinder Evas (by a guy from Summoning), Stoa, Corvus Corax, Romowe Rikoito, In the Nursery, Sol Invictus, Ataraxia, Regard Extrême, etc. But this scene, together with neofolk and martial industrial, is a bit of a minefield in terms of nationalistic attitudes here and there.

Meanwhile, I think I never mentioned Camerata Mediolanense to you: e.g. ‘Salve, Mundi Domine, Caesar Noster, Ave’, ‘Quest'anima gentil’, ‘L'Homme Armé’. Camerata Sforzesca are very similar, but with emphasis on Renaissance music without the martial-industrial aspect.

The type of sound I was looking for with Spiritchaser was the percussion and rhythm, not the European style classical sound from DCD earlier works.
For the past 6 years I've delving into north African blues and Arab psyche. I've been looking into "desert sound" type of music, if that makes any sense 😁
Anyhow, I always appreciate your knowledge and comments 🙏

Do Anne Dudley and Jaz Coleman's ‘Songs From The Victorious City’, Muslimgauze, and Alek Lee work in this regard? I need to relisten to ‘Spiritchaser’ from this angle, but I've been collecting some world music too in this time, might dig up something.

Before I forget, check out also Dj Diaki's ‘Balani Fou’ and Nozinja / Tshetsha Boys' shangaan electro — might also be interesting for you, although it's more modern sub-Saharan stuff.

Perhaps try also the label Awesome Tapes From Africa, however idk how much of that is Arab-style music, I think most is likewise rather modern West-influenced sub-Saharan. Also Bandcamp likely has only a portion of their releases.

    north African blues

That sounds interesting, I'd appreciate some posts or just a dump of links/names on this topic.

Songs From The Victorious City - I remember this one, this is nice. i'll have to add this to my collection
Muslimgauze and Alek Lee delve more into electronic, not bad a thing but maybe for another time.

I know Awesome Tapes From Africa, maybe like most I got them through Bandcamp, like Habibi Funk.

    I don't think you're wrong, I'm sure it's influenced by western ears.

Tinariwen is the band most other musicians reference
Imarhan, I was very fortunate to see them live this year
    Songhoy Blues Bombino
    Etran de L'Aïr
    Mdou Moctar

Not related, but I bought this album recently and think that it might fit into this - Ranjah
