Now that the cybertruck has been released, I assume Fords sales will pick up even further.

I guess many of the cybertrucks preorders were hoping for the promised 30-40k$ price target. Now that its over twice as expensive with the cheapest option not even available for the foreseeable future, many preorders will opt for the cheaper and more traditional alternatives like Rivia and the F150 Lightning. These also hit the target market of truck owners much more which tend to be more conservative.

Wouldn‘t be surprised if the cybertruck becomes more of a hipster statement driven by rich people that need a pickup truck even less than regular pickup truck drivers.
