Ai lacks the intention to make art. It can make pictures but I dont think those can be considered art

They train those AI models on reddit posts. I'm thinking they had some serious trama too. Lol.
Probably a slop post. No one here is genuine.
I prefer using a digital drawing tablet or a pencil, but hey whatever coats your moat
I was just thinking the other day, not as a gatekeep but as a philosophical question: Can you make anything considered art without understanding pain? I feel like in order to even make pleasurable art you need to make it in constraint contrast to pain.
Studio ghibli's Miyazaki (cant be bothered to look up his first name, but hes not the dark souls Miyazaki) is famously incredibly depressed/nihilistic but also makes incredible films and simply cant be forced into retirement. Pain does make art.
I was going to say food, but then I remembered every long-time cook can handle hot things barehanded because they've burned themselves so many times they've lost sensation in their fingertips.
Take your favorite musician or act and listen to their couch surfing, barely eating first album then listen to their 20 year run, financially secure album and you'll have your answer.
Same for comedy. I think a bit of trauma is required to be a good comedian.
What if you use childhood trauma to make AI?
What if you use AI to make childhood trauma?
How do you think we got AI in the first place? Do you really think a bunch of happy people were like “I’m so happy, how can I be happier?”
Happy people are complacent. Every single thing you see, every innovation, every advancement by mankind… It’s all the product of someone’s misery that finally hit the tipping point into action, eventually producing results.
I’m sure that’s her son, wrapping their head around the entire concept of “all human advancement is driven by pain” can be a bit depressing, but I choose to look at it as “per adversitatem, sustinemus“ or “Through adversity, we endure”
