    that eighty something year old boomer would probably raise quite the uncomfortable inconvenience if they started throwing one of their little tantrums.

    There are old people who are considerate and kind, and the story here is more about two grown ass people still behaving like mischievous little kids - at least that's how I read it and it's endearing, there's no need to be imagining bad things about any of them.

    I remember the first time I went to my wife’s big family gathering when we were still dating, her grandmother was cooking a big elaborate meal and her uncle snuck into the kitchen and grabbed some food before it was ready, got caught, then proceeded to get chased around the house with a slipper. All in good fun obviously, but it was quite amusing to watch.
