I’ve found alternatives to almost all proprietary software; all that remains is to replace the networks themselves, which are controlled by corporations and governments. That will be a bit more difficult.

    What Alternative do You habe for Google Maps? I know there are other options for navigation, but how do you replace the catalog of info that only exists on there. Opening times, the locations of small businesses that don't have a website and such?

    on phone i use both CoMaps or Organic Maps depending what i need. When wanting info about restaurants or something i go to the browser with open street maps

    OpenStreetMap (Osmand for android). But local info I can find in 2GIS (russian map service, because i'm in russia now)

    You can always use a nearby open wifi with a good antenna!
