Bootknife and Jack need to team up with kid wonder Bobby Smith for the local matchbox rally for boy scout troop 20. Can they survive the 20 mile downhill?

”The Fast & Furious movies are basically like if you let your six year old smash their toys together and write a script based on that, so what if we just named the movie after toy cars?”

It looks so fucking stupid. But who knows. The sonic movies were a wild success. The Barbie movie was good too. I don't even know anymore

the IP is incidental. it seems like the studios need to license the production of something with the IP to protect it from entering public domain.

so now a list of IP from a giant bin is what studios will greenlight, so writers have to shoehorn a story to use an existing asset.

comic books, cartoons & kid shows, video games were the low hanging fruit. now they're going through the board games and toys.

what's really gonna be surreal is when we're dealing with what's left at the bottom of the bin. Tupperware: The Movie, Swiffer: The Movie, Kotex: The Movie.

and the thing is, some clever writer at their wit's end is going to tell a dramatic, engaging story using household products and it will make a billion dollars.

  • In a world where leftovers go uneaten, spoiling in a fridge. And the people wake up hungover with nothing easy to reheat. One man had the audacity to dream to imagine keeping takeout lamb roghan ghosht freshly sealed in a reusable container.

Before he could patent the idea, his home was infiltrated by freelance german terrorists lead by Bruno Hauptman (OSCAR ISAAC), his fiance was taken hostage while he was working up prototypes from thermoplastic polymers in the basement.

This summer watch Malcolm "Neckbeef" Tupperware (JOHN CENA) fight for his woman, "Unnamed Blonde #1" (SYDNEY SWEENEY) and his product line in SEALED FATE: The Jack Tupperware Story

I can't even joke: "What next? A Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robots movie???" That's actually in development. Vin Diesel will star and he's working on the script.

On April 19, 2021, Mattel Films teamed up with Universal Pictures and Vin Diesel's One Race Films for a live-action film adaptation of the 1964-launched toy, with the film starring Diesel himself. In December 2025, it was announced that Diesel would write the script.

Maybe you're thinking of a different robots movie? As far as I know - shooting hasn't even started on RESE.

Edit. Okay. I got it now.
