I was wondering this too. Seems like the spam is coming from the alien.top instance, so I've blocked it. What a dumb idea.
Yeah, it isn't this community and instance.
Sadly, unless you use lemmy via one of the apps that can filter instances, this bot is annoying as fuck since you can't just block the bot itself. It posts using bot generated user names.
Luckily, there are apps that filter instances, so there's that on mobile as an option. Otherwise, that kind of bullshit bot would make lemmy unusable.

I believe it’s because you’re on Lemmy.world, and they blocked the auto posts on this instance.
How ironic is it that most of these posts are super negative:
- "my wifi sucks"
- "don't use this brand"
- etc.
