Conviction after impeachment is nearly impossible given that 67 Senators need to vote for it; at best the Democrats could reach 52 or 53 seats in the Senate.

Edit: Not that it's not worth going through the impeachment process in the House to underscore just how far off the rails Trump has gone, but Trump will never be convicted in the Senate for anything he's done as President in the current political landscape.
