I think we in the US should change our anthem to The Most Unwanted Song. It really captures our vibe right now as a nation.

Brazil has a very complicated, beautiful and long national anthem. Its great and all but using such difficult words and being so long means most people here don't know the full song much less understand its meaning.

Funnily enough, I memorized and can sing the italian hymn because of my middle school, but can't sing the full national anthem from my own country

France and the Netherlands have war songs for their national anthems that are pretty good.

Mexico, hands down. If you grew up in San Diego and listens to cool radio, you heard this twice a day and it slaps!

I was stationed in Japan with the US military between 2002-2005 and every evening at 5 PM, the Japanese and American national anthems would play on speakers across our base, signaling the end of the work day.

We were required to stop what we were doing and listen quietly and respectfully for both anthems. If we were outside, we'd have to stand at parade rest and face the nearest country flags we could see, or face toward the music if there were no flags visible nearby. When the American national anthem played, we had to snap to attention and salute for the entire song.

The Japanese national anthem is probably not my favorite ever national anthem, but I heard it every day for over 3 years and the hauntingly beautiful anthem has forever planted itself in my brain. It's so calm and smooth compared to the almost militaristic march of the American anthem.

I have vague memories of playing Ivan "Ironman" Stewart's Super Off Road (1990) as a kid.

My country of choice was solely based on liking one of the anthems, but sadly I do not remember which one. Was Australia or New Zealand am option? I feel like it was one of those.

EDIT: Upon doing some research (watching YouTube videos), I think it may have been New Zealand. Still not sure if that was available in my game, but that's still my final answer. Australia is pretty cool too, so you aussies and kiwies can fight it out amongst yourselves - Knowing you, you already are anyway.
