I have previously come across a white appearing woman with a white appearing husband and a mixed race black appearing baby. The woman used this to argue that the reason their baby is half black is because she had a black great grandparent. The husband accepted this logic.

It's funny but it works. I was able to figure out the percentage chance of outliers quickly without any additional thought beyond the visuals.
