"Well I guess under a Biden administration, Biden America, you’d expect this," McCarthy told reporters. "If you’d noticed, recently, President Trump went up in the polls and was actually surpassing President Biden for re-election. So what do they do now? Weaponize government, go after their No. 1 opponent. It’s time and time again, I think the American public is tired of this, they want to have ... see equal justice and the idea that they utilize this to go after those who politically disagree with them is wrong."

Now let's look at what McCarthy said in January 2021:

“The president bears responsibility for Wednesday’s attack on Congress by mob rioters,” McCarthy said on the House floor. “He should have immediately denounced the mob when he saw what was unfolding. These facts require immediate action by President Trump.”

McCarthy said that the outgoing president needs to “accept his share of responsibility, quell the brewing unrest and ensure President-Elect Joe Biden is able to successfully begin his term.”

McCarthy is feckless coward.

Plus Trump flat out says he will use the Whitehouse to go after his enemies and Democrats. They fucking hypocrites on top of everything else.

Bunch of fucking fascists who think they should be the only ones allowed to weaponize the government.

Anyone dumb enough to believe this all happened as the result of an uptick in the polls probably already supports Trump, so I guess this won't change too many minds.

2). Conspiracy to defraud the U.S.

Hmmmm, very interesting. This could be at a micro or macro level and I'm trying to not get my hopes up.

Maybe that is a general charge to cover The Big Lie that orange bastard and his cultists repeated endlessly without evidence, telling the American public as a whole a Big Lie from the pulpit of the President, that our election was stolen when it was not.

I certainly hope he goes to prison for that one offense if nothing else. Brainwashing the gullible public with such lies is an aggression that must not stand.

Could this be related to the slates of fake electors they tried submitting? That seems to be one of the clearer conspiracy charges they have a lot of documented evidence and witnesses for.
