Wow, crazy stuff in that article! The guy that got pulled over for speeding and then made a surprise POW, and that being the best case scenario for him was insane. How a government can just magically deny your existence seems a nobody should have, yet it's probably scarily common around the world.

That's not comparable in my opinion as there are too many factors in today's Europe that haven't played a role in Slovenia of 1992. The author speaks of the U.S. influence, which is perfectly rights, but we must not forget that the threats for democracy in Europe comes not only from the West. The European far-right is also heavily supported by Russia and China that aim to destabilize societies and sow division.

European far-right and far-left political parties, though ideologically opposed, are finding common ground in their alignments with China, echoing Beijing’s narratives and raising concerns about foreign influence and manipulation.
And in a news just from today:
Germany's far-right AfD wants return of Russian gas to Germany
Tardigrade all you ever bring to the conversation seems to be fear mongering about China, you behave like a cardboard cutout with only three or four tag lines it says when you press the button.
Some European far-right and far-left political parties have discovered an unlikely area of convergence: a degree of alignment with China. While not universal across the ideological spectrum, certain parties and individuals within both groups have leveraged overlapping arguments to challenge the more critical stance adopted by several EU members and the European Commission toward Beijing. This emerging alignment, though nuanced and varied in intensity, holds potential implications for EU-China relations and the broader political dynamics within Europe.
lol what a weaksauce article, where is the systematic connection with the left here?
Page not found? If they mean the "izbrisani" thing. That wasn't a remigration blueprint.
