The quotes in the article are enough to see that she’s saying people are not culturally homogeneous just because they share a skin colour, and she’s right.

Racists upset because she calmly showed their dog whistle is a load of shit.

Speaking on National Forum, she said she loved Australia but was conscious that political circumstances could affect whether she and her children felt they could remain.

    What's this about?

    ABC National Forum on migration

I felt ashamed, and just wanted to hug her and beg her to stay

But we all know exactly what the racist cunts have and will put her and her children through 😢

Barnaby Joyce's entire performance was to just laugh and say "Oh, the details are in our tweet". Shame on you, Betroot!

Sorry that's not really what I was asking.

What political circumstances was she referring to?

    Do you have an imagination?

    Use your imagination.

Imagine the range of possible political situations that turn out bad for this woman and her children. And that's ignoring all of the day to day casual and direct racism that they encounter every day. Let's "just talk about political circumstances".

Now, how about you tell me ONE OF THOSE BAD POLITICAL CIRCUMSTANCES that could happen.

    Just one.

    I'm waiting.
