Use your imagination.

Imagine the range of possible political situations that turn out bad for this woman and her children. And that's ignoring all of the day to day casual and direct racism that they encounter every day. Let's "just talk about political circumstances".

Now, how about you tell me ONE OF THOSE BAD POLITICAL CIRCUMSTANCES that could happen.
