Yeah that tracks. I remember one time when a liberal just like these people was openly racist toward me because I supported communism. We also had a former neo-Nazi in our Discord server, and that liberal didn’t do or say anything to them

To be fair there's like an order of magnitude of difference in terms of sheer insanity between Trump supporters and these people, but dammit if we let a good reeducation camp go to waste

Which one? None of them looks expressly feminine to me...

I can't tell from looking at it whether it's supposed to be eyeliner or smile lines around the eyes. Given that the rest of the stick figures are pretty gender-neutral and there's nothing else that could be considered "feminine" about this one, I would assume the latter.

The one saying "yes please" to "first they came for communists" while claiming to be a real socialist? It's the only one that might look like eyeliner although I thought it's just a smug expression.

How is cheering on Nazis coming for communists not on the same level of shittiness as the rest? Also how is dunking on that puritanical or misogynistic?

    [Edit] For context: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/First_They_Came

No sorry I think you're confused, I added a Wikipedia link for context to my previous reply. I don't think that character was meant to be female or feminist, I think it's just a character claiming to be a socialist while hating communists so much they applaud literal Nazi anti-communist wich hunts, something we see a lot currently with western lib "left"

You mean they are attacking socialists for having sex with communists? Nah sorry I think that's a stretch.

The "came for" is very clearly referring to the persecution of communists in reference to the poem it is quoting.

There's nothing sexual about it. There's nothing misogynistic about it. It is a caricature of an anti-communist "socialist".

They are celebrating anti-communism from the Left. It's not subtle so I don't understand how you missed it.

No, they are using the trope of modern communists being horny-brained and only capable of thinking about sex while making everything sexual. The sign is a double entendre of the person being horny for someone “coming” to/for them

Wait, I thought it was supposed to be misogynistic? I thought that was a bit of a stretch but you can't be serious - I don't understand how you could draw the conclusion that the figure is portrayed as being "horny". You're reading into depth that this MS Paint stick figure cartoon simply does not have.

i don't think any of these things should be considered the same level of human as global southerners ngl, maybe after a few generations of humiliation but that's unlikely too

In a nutshell, dehumanization is the tool of fascists.

Whether you like it or not, our target audience holds the beliefs depicted in the meme. They hold petit bourgeois consciousness because this is the default of a bourgeois society.

If you want to attack something, attack the belief (like this meme does). Don't attack a person unless they are fascist.

isn't liberalism just fascism under a more palatable term though? i thought that's why socdems/demsocs are so dangerous since they use facetious language to act like they are correct when they just serve imperialism

Not necessarily. Liberalism is a "lesser evil" compared to full fascism. Assuming that socdems/demsocs are dangerous at every moment is idealism. For example, The CPC allied itself with the Guomindang when it came to the fight against the fascist Japanese. Also, when it comes to solidarity with the White proletariat of the Global North, we shouldn't forget their complicity, but we have White comrades here. Remember what Fred Hampton said:

We got to face some facts. That the masses are poor, that the masses belong to what you call the lower class, and when I talk about the masses, I’m talking about the white masses, I’m talking about the black masses, and the brown masses, and the yellow masses, too. We’ve got to face the fact that some people say you fight fire best with fire, but we say you put fire out best with water. We say you don’t fight racism with racism—we’re gonna fight racism with solidarity. We say you don’t fight capitalism with no black capitalism; you fight capitalism with socialism. -- Power Anywhere Where There’s People!, Fred Hampton.

Apologies for pulling a quote here, but I think it fits this context. I know White people benefit from the spoils of imperialism, but they are proletarians with false consciousness. We shouldn't dehumanize them.

what about Malcolm X considering the white liberal the jaws of the fox though? the fact that the us (and the rest of the west) has no moral conscience? for example, if israelis are deemed unsalvagable given they want to wipe out all palestinians and use the samson doctrine, then why isn't that same understanding applied to the other western taxons? is it because it makes americans, canadians, europeans, etc. uncomfortable? it doesn't make sense to me

    edit: typo

To answer your point about Israel, the state is a fascist ethno state that is actively conducting mass genocide and colonial settlerism. Therein, Israel is considered a lost cause because any who proport to fight for the cause directly uphold the tenets of Zionist philosophy because there is no room in Israel for anyone else. In the example of the United States, the social dynamics of the country bind together the fates of millions of individuals belonging to several disparate groups not belonging to the hegemon. Sadly, this is a result of the successful settlerism of the nation and the successful elimination of clear lines delineating oppressed from oppressor. So when one begs for “westoids” to be punished for generations, one imagines this ideal suburbanite white appearing person, while in reality you are likewise wishing for millions of subjugated black, native, lgbt, immigrant, and other such individuals to suffer without cause or reason. This line of thinking only alienates the global proletariat from one another and aids in maintaining the antagonistic relationship bred within the proletariat consciousness by capital interests.

Reducing the problem to “Westoids” and a lack of a moral compass also ignores the active role of the capitalist base in maintaining the current status quo. To that end, Malcom was calling for Marxist to develop and act as the moral compass of the West, not cast the entirety of the proletariat aside for the sins of their capitalist masters.

i guess i can understand that but i feel that negates the real impact westoids have by benefitting from imperialism is the problem

why not target the white part of the westoids then? i feel we have the least chances of being rehabilitated, and the west needs to pay for what we've done in some way or another imo

i mean it seems morally correct for westoids to be given punishment like we disgustingly gave to the global south, at least to me

Comrade, this is bizarre self flagellation that is neither helpful, nor permissible behavior. Further, referring to human beings as westoids is concerning, and is entirely devoid of any Marxist analysis. Dehumanization helps no one and is in all instances disgusting.

You do not help the global south by “enduring punishment”, you are not a Catholic seeking repentance.

Wishing harm onto millions of the working class is not how we advance a party line or conduct analysis. Mass dehumanization and repression is the tool of fascist thought.

i've seen plenty of comrades on here and reddit use the term while being anti-imperialist, as long as they're fighting western forces they are allies i feel

besides if "westoid" is concerning then comrades can just say it amongst each other right? like the movement needs masses, just keep the westerns from hearing what the world rightfully sees them as and there wouldn't be a problem i think, maybe

i'm not being aggressive and i apologize if i sound so, just stating my logic

You're fine as far as I'm concerned. There's a bit of tone policing and lesser evilism going on in this thread. I think it's fine to get angry at western white complicity given the times, especially if you're from the global south, and to express that anger. Truth is, a lot of "liberal left" ideology is based on white supremacy, the saviour complex etc, even if they dont say the quiet part out loud. Getting sick of it and going, "no, you're the lesser people!" is understandable, IMHO.
