Without more information: by knowing yourself. Understand your needs and then you can search for the roots of them.

That question is way too general. First, try turning it off and back on.

Medical problems - ask a doctor

Emotional problems - ask a really good and not judgemental friend.

Technical problems - YouTube is pretty good for those, if there is nobody you can ask.

Start by becoming hyper vigilant of your day to day.

Be on the look out for literally ANYTHING to occur.

When that thing occurs. Ask yourself, "did I want this to happen?"

If the answer is no, you have identified a problem

What sort of problems and in what way are you wanting to identify them?

There is no universal problem-solving technique.

Is it a problem with a machine, a person, a system made of several or both? Or is it a problem with one's self?

Is it a positive problem? Something happening too much?
Is it a negative problem? Something not happening enough?

The closest you can get to universal advice is: Try something different, see how that changes things, then repeat. But even that might be a bad idea in a few situations.

It’s not very meaningful as a general question. To answer it, I could just say “yes“. What I mean is it would be very different if you mean a medical problem, an interpersonal conflict, a personal quandary, a psychological problem, difficulty achieving something you want, an academic problem…

    Why'd you bring it up?

This might get a bit of hate from some people here but this is one of the few good uses of LLMs. Do not use them for advice on how to address problems but if you are just looking for the word to describe what you are dealing with, they can be great for the question of 'what is the word for when a blank is blank and blank but also not blank?' The word association mechanism within LLMs is perfect for finding the word most closely associated with a cluster of other words. Though, again, seek human, preferably expert, advice on the issue once you have figured out what it is.

reverse engineer them? somehow your problems are affecting your life, or they wouldn't be problems.
what parts of your life are affected and how?
once you find one of those parts, try to follow the steps back to what causes you grief. that's your problem.

Ask the people in your life what's wrong with you.
