I'm curious about getting into the comic and would like to start where the show currently has ended.

Show ended on issue 29, but I suggest reading everything from the start. Show has made some changes and chronology is bit diffirent, so it would feel more natural if you read from issue 1.

Also enjoy, it will be amazing ride.
