Upgrade from the 2019 I9 worth it? (alien.top)

Basically text. I was thinking about the m3 or even m2 apple chip, currently have the 2019 i9 16gb ram and 1tb. Do a lot of time lapse stuff and CAD stuff. Think the upgrade to the newer silicon is worth it or should I wait it out a few years till the prices come down?

Buy refurbished or used (in great shape) M1 Max or M2 Max and you will be amazed.
